Cineplex Store to CosmoGO: What You Need to Know

The Cineplex Store is now CosmoGO!

Welcome to CosmoGO, your new entertainment destination. We've moved your Cineplex Store account to CosmoGO, this guide has everything you need to get started.

Logging In & Resetting Your Password
While your account was automatically transferred over to CosmoGO, for your security, you're passwords didn't. To access your account and any active purchases or rentals, you'll need to reset your password following these steps below:
1. Go to cosmogo.com
2. Click on 
LOGIN at the top of the right hand corner
3. Click on 
HERE from "no worries, click here to reset your password" section login screen
4. Enter your email address that was associated with your Cineplex Store account

Please note, you'll only need to reset your password once, then you can sign into your account across your devices (up to 5).

For Cineplex users, please note only Cineplex users that have transacted with Cineplex Store had their accounts transferred. If you've never made a purchase with Cineplex Store, please create an account on cosmogo.com. Instructions to do so can be found HERE. (Add article)

Payment Methods
Please note, for your security and protection, your saved payment methods didn't transfer over to CosmoGO. If you wish to re-save your payment cards please re-add them following these steps:
1. Go to
 cosmogo.com
2. Click 
LOGIN at the top of the right hand corner
3. Click 
ACCOUNT
4. Click 
ADD PAYMENT METHOD
5. Enter your card details & then click on ADD

You can also save your card during checkout by checking "
Save card for future use" at the time of purchase.

Updating Your App to CosmoGO
On the Web:
You can now stream directly from 
cosmogo.com, bookmark it for easy access!
No extra steps needed: If you visit store.cineplex.com or cineplexstore.com, you'll be automatically redirected.

On Mobile & Smart TVs:
If you have auto-updates enabled, your app will update to CosmoGO automatically.

Fire TV Users: Since Cineplex Store wasn’t previously available on Fire TV, you’ll need to download CosmoGO directly from the Amazon Appstore.

If you don't have auto-update on or unsure if you do, please follow these steps found HERE to update to the CosmoGO app on supported mobile and smart tv's.
Please note for users with a FireTV device, the Cineplex Store wasn't available on CosmoGO, as such, please download the app on Amazon marketplace.

Entitlements
All your eligible purchases from the Cineplex Store have been moved to CosmoGO and can be found under My Library after you log in.

Please note:
✅ Purchased titles & active rentals have been transferred.
❌ Expired rentals are not available on CosmoGO.
